Yes, after another sell out show, it’s time to get ready for our last gig in 2019!!! And I’ll tell you what, don’t miss this very unique show and make sure you reserve your tickets pronto !!!! After many idle phone calls and a few years down the line, we’ve finally got hold of two former TNCC favourites. Highly in demand they are finally back!
The Award-winning Archie Maddocks is just fresh from a stint in the BBC Writersroom, as well as filming in Prague. Having previously toured South Africa and Europe, this ‘ upper cool, super smart storyteller’ (Bruce Dessau, Evening Standard) hilariously explores life, love and loss with a candid authenticity, marking him out as a ‘real highlight’ (BBC Introducing). He has been quite busy since he came over to perform at the Top Notch Comedy Club. In 2016, he took his debut show Shirts Vs Skins to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, which received excellent reviews and ended up on tour in South Africa in 2017. His follow-up show, IlluminArchie, was loved by critics and audience alike and received a London transfer to the prestigious Soho Theatre in 2017 and VAULT Festival in 2018. Archie is an emerging writer as well as stand-up. His work has been produced at the Bush Theatre, Lyric Hammersmith, Orange Tree Theatre, Royal Court, and in New York at the New Light Theatre.
Michael Fabbri has been a stand-up comedian since 2003 and regularly performs at all the major comedy clubs throughout the UK and all over the world. He has also worked as a writer for radio and TV. Recently his own stand up series, "Dyslexion", on BBC Radio 4 made big waves on the comedy scene. As a regular with several well-received solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, he is also high in demand as a support act for the likes of Micky Flanagan, Lucy Porter and Stephen K Amos.
